Case Study 1

The East of England Energy Group (Eeegr), approached Sett to support them with their High Energy Schools Challenge.

The High Energy Schools' Challenge is a professionally produced, broadcast Game Show, filmed in High-Definition that is designed to get schools and school students interested in careers in the energy industry. The challenge involves a qualifying round web based treasure hunt, followed by a fantastic quiz show event filmed at EPIC studios in Norwich

Sett provided the link between the schools and the competition, providing communication, organisation and management services, we even delivered a presentation for schools, created the web treasure hunt, wrote the questions for the Quiz Show and conducted guided tours of the venue during filming!

Case Study 2

Connexions Norfolk approached us to support them in their aim to raise awareness of apprenticeships amongst students in the county. We were pleased to become the Apprenticeship Ambassador for Norfolk and immediately got to work.

The first we did was to commission a film and powerpoint presentation. Working with Cog Media, we put together a fantastic, visual prsentation that included lots of relevant information and interviews with apprentices from a variety of industries.

We then took this presentation on the road, delivering to small school groups, large school groups, assemblies, careers evenings/events, parents evenings and an Information, Advice & Guidance Conference. We covered the whole of the county, informing students, parents, teachers and businesses of apprenticeships and their benefits. The presentation was put onto discs and sent to schools to use in their own lessons.

Sett conducted a full appraisal and produced a report on the outcomes of the project for Connexions and Norfolk County Council.
